One of the highlights of the region is an expedition in rafting boats along the wildest, uninhabited part of the island Moskenes. We have several rafting boats at our disposal which carry up to 12 persons each. Using it as a means of transport, the visitors will see the farthest and the wildest spots of the Lofoten. The way leads to the southern end of the island, and on the way the travellers will cross the famous and dangerous current and whirlpools of Moskstraumen. For lunch we stop at Hell (“hell”). It is a settlement abandoned in the early fifties, which its inhabitants left taking all their possessions, including their houses.
